Visual Styles
Every track becomes one card: a main representation, a title bar (track,
album, duration, key · bpm), and a waveform strip. Seventeen styles via
musiscape thumbnails <folder> --style <name>. Examples here are rendered
from a synthetic demo collection (arpeggios, drones, strummed chords).

barcode — harmony as color: hue = position on the circle of fifths,
saturation = tonal focus, brightness = loudness. wave —
Freesound-style: the amplitude envelope colored by spectral centroid.
ssm — self-similarity matrix (form as texture). keyscape —
Sapp-style multi-scale key triangle. arcs — Shape-of-Song repetition
arcs mined from the self-similarity structure.
vinyl — tonality disc (one revolution; harmony as hue, loudness as
radius) over a Freesound waveform strip. spiral — Shepard-helix pitch
map (angle = pitch class, radius = octave; the only view showing register).
tonnetz — the harmony's path on the circle-of-fifths plane.
rhythm — Poincaré portrait of successive inter-onset intervals, with
a beat-wheel inset (onset phases + pulse-clarity resultant arrow).
stereo — a pan-by-frequency spectrogram (blue = left, red = right, ink
strength = energy) with a goniometer inset, over a width-and-correlation
timeline. For multichannel and ambisonic material use ambiscape.
schaeffer — TARTYP object timeline (mass lanes × facture marks +
duration-share grid). tarsom — the seven morphological criteria as a
centre–periphery rose (centre = tonic/dark/smooth/… poles). See Methodology and Caveats for what these can and

musiscape poster <folder> stacks every track as a harmony barcode;
--style vinyl lays the collection out as a grid of tonality discs. Albums
read as color families either way.
