Decision-First Dashboard turns KPI-heavy dashboards into decision-first interfaces by identifying what matters, why it matters, and what action should follow.

v1.1.1 is a correctness and runtime patch release. It changes no visual rendering and no layout contract.

Included in v1.1.1:

  • Temporal semantic typing (RDT-TS-1) — a 12-month series is now typed as a Trend at intake rather than collapsing into a Distribution, so month-over-month data renders as a continuous trajectory instead of a grid of disconnected tiles. The semantic/visual grammar documents the Trend vs Distribution boundary, and a two-layer guard enforces it: strong temporal evidence fails closed on a mistyped series, while an ambiguous month/quarter axis raises a question instead of silently re-typing it. Recurring period bins (day-of-week, hour-of-day) are explicitly out of scope for re-typing.
  • CLI entrypoint identity (CLI-ENTRY-1) — all eight CLI entrypoints now identify themselves by resolved path instead of comparing process.argv[1] to import.meta.url. Node resolves a module's own URL to its real path while argv[1] keeps the path the host typed, so when the skill is installed as a symlink or junction every CLI invocation exited 0 while producing no output, no error, and no files. This is fixed across every entrypoint, not just the compiler.
  • Installed-state regression coverage that creates a temporary link to the skill, launches through the link path, and asserts the CLI really executes and produces the expected stdout, exit code, and artifacts — including that failed runs still fail closed and still write nothing.
  • Version bump to 1.1.1 in package.json and .claude-plugin/plugin.json.

Why the CLI fix matters: a silent exit 0 with no artifacts is indistinguishable from success. Callers could conclude nothing was produced and fall back to hand-writing a dashboard, which defeats the requirement that output comes only from the deterministic renderer.

Local suite at that commit: 405 tests, 402 passed, 0 failed, 3 skipped

Packaged-skill preflight: SKILL_PACKAGE_READY, skillVersion: 1.1.1

Post-merge GitHub Actions on main:

  • Compiler tests #497: passed

Replayed on a real-world case end-to-end through the installed skill path, producing byte-identical canonical HTML/SVG plus a manifest reporting verification.status: passed.

Not changed in this release: the renderer, layout, typography, or any visual hierarchy contract. One known visual defect is filed and not addressed here — dense value labels on 12-point trend charts can collide. It is tracked separately, and its fix is a presentation contract decision rather than a styling tweak.

This release does not make claims about adoption, production maturity, or stability beyond the verified repository contracts.
