The reading command no longer opens an interactive CLI environment for running stats queries. Instead, a single query is passed as a CLI argument. ANSI colors are also avoided except for error messages.

These changes, along with bugfixes to the CLI output, make the reading command more usable and a bit closer to the Unix philosophy.
