Feature Overview

The whole app at a glance, organized the way the sidebar is. Each nav group links to the wiki page that covers it in depth. Visibility is permission-driven — what a user sees depends on their role and grants (see Role & Nav Naming Conventions).

Dashboard

The landing page is exception-based, not a wall of charts: Cash & Risk (collected last 30 days net of refunds, A/R, accounts-payable exposure from vendor bills) and a Needs Attention queue that surfaces work nobody asked about — unscheduled return visits, parts awaiting order, unread email and SMS, vendor bills awaiting review, new website leads, and the next-actions queue. Each item links straight to the screen that clears it.

Jobs, the dispatch board (traffic-aware, with GPS and on-my-way), planner and team scheduling, appointment confirmations, checklists, job templates, recurring jobs, maintenance plans, technicians & performance, timeclock, fleet, maps, daily/delivery load sheets, customer equipment, company tools, photos, tasks — plus Door Listings (Doors for Sale: sell doors from the app straight onto your website).

Customer directory with history and equipment, communications (built-in SMS/email threads), Outlook inbox, Phone.com calls/SMS/faxes/cold leads, reviews, referrals, surveys, online booking, warranties — plus the Customer Portal your customers see.

Leads, estimates & quote builder (with AI Quick Estimate), proposals, change orders, service agreements, e-signatures, estimate nurture.

Invoicing → Invoicing & Payments

Billing (job close-outs autodraft the invoice; Ready-for-Billing reviews it), deposit invoices, delivery tracking (Unsent tab, Mark as Mailed, Last Sent), payments (Stripe online payment, ACH, payment dates), credit memos & refunds, collections, invoice reminders (automatic sending opt-in), bank feeds.

Expenses (with receipt attachments), job costing, pricing & labor matrix, vendor bills & statements, bank feeds & statement reconciliation, sales-tax report, exports, QuickBooks sync, budgets — plus Accounting Settings: the chart of accounts, posting maps, and the master switch for the internal general ledger (off by default).

Payroll (timeclock rollups into pay periods) and commissions.

Reports, forecasting (with an accuracy-measurement loop), variance report, budget vs. actuals, spending trends, overhead — grouped in the nav as Experimental while they mature — plus Games, an early admin-only game system still marked "Future Release".

Marketing → Marketing & Retention

Campaigns, segments, automations, win-back & follow-ups, loyalty.

Catalogs (including no-code custom catalog types and Catalog Packs), inventory, parts to order, vendors, purchase orders, supplier portal.

Documents & Admin → Admin & Settings

Documents library, PDF template editor, resources; users, roles & permissions, tags, custom fields, webhooks, GDPR, audit activity, onboarding wizard, notifications, branding, platform admin.

Field techs → Technician Mobile App

A dedicated mobile-first surface: today's jobs, status updates with GPS, photos and signatures, on-truck quoting (Good/Better/Best) and invoicing, a guided job close-out that autodrafts the invoice, safety checklists, vehicle inspections, dispatch chat, timeclock, day summary — offline-first, installable as a home-screen app (PWA), with push notifications.

Everywhere

  • Global search (Ctrl+K) across jobs, customers, invoices, estimates.
  • Quick actions — create job / create customer / open dispatch from the sidebar.
  • Audit logging on virtually every mutation.
  • Guided tours and an in-app feedback/bug-report channel.
