生成未完成时继续推进
- 模型以原生
Length结束时，整轮提案只留审计，不执行工具，也不交付半截回复。Job 保留原任务和已经完成的动作，允许一次重新规划为更小的完整动作。 - 恢复机会从持久事件计算；停止、重启和恢复不会重置。连续受限会明确暂停，正常工作回复被接受后才重新计算工作机会。所有调用继续消耗原输入的共享额度。
- 过滤、明确的上下文限制、未知结束原因和调用错误分别报告。沿用 Rig 的原生结果合同，成功但缺少结束原因时接受非空结果。
- TUI 自动调整期间显示“本轮生成未完成，正在继续”；最终暂停说明具体原因，已经完成的进度保留。
分步写入与摘要
write_file必填mode = replace | append。追加必须提供上一成功版本的 SHA，核验源版本后原子替换，返回完整文件的新 SHA 与大小。普通局部修改继续使用edit_file。- 分步写入允许保留中间文件；权限、工作区写锁、冲突检查和 16 MiB 文件总大小限制继续有效。不拼接半截工具参数。
- 摘要沿用 Profile 的原生生成配置，删除隐藏的 2048 截顶。受限摘要最多重试一个不超过原材料一半的完整前缀；只有使后续工作请求实际缩小的完整摘要才能提交。失败时原文和旧摘要保留。
诊断与验证范围
调用记录区分传给 Rig 的生成配置、服务端报告的用量和结束原因、安全原生观察；缺失值保持未知，不记录认证信息或完整 HTTP 请求。模型结果与对应状态在同一 SQLite 事务提交。
本地验收通过 290 项 Rust 检查、8 项 Python 检查和 32 项 TUI PTY 场景。原生 Rig 协议故障测试覆盖合法 JSON、半截参数和纯思考输出受限时零执行、有限恢复、取消与重启、摘要保留和追加冲突。固定协议对照中新版本 3/3 完成分步文件任务，0.10.0 基线 0/3；真实 gpt-6-luna 订阅完成跨 CLI 重启的两轮工程修改。
证据和边界见 生成续做验收。真实订阅任务没有触发截断；受限恢复由原生协议测试覆盖。用户另一台机器的 New API 故障没有原始响应，具体触发原因仍未知。不自动提高用户生成额度、不自动换模型或改变协议。
发布包覆盖 macOS、Windows、Linux，各提供 x64 和 ARM64。系统基线为 macOS 15+、Windows 11 / Server 2025+；Linux 提供 musl 静态包。每个目标经过原生测试、构建和解压后二进制启动检查；校验信息随包提供为 SHA256SUMS 与 release-builds.json。
发布构建
六平台原生验证与安装包来自同一次成功预检。发布提交为 fedd529ed1794de1bab2fb60082da8773015b820；原始产物经独立哈希、二进制架构和依赖检查后原样上传。

行为变化
- 移除
/reconcile、bone reconcile和会话级“需核查”门禁。中断进入普通工具结果，Agent 检查实际状态后决定下一步。 - 停止会收集已经启动的工具结果与部分输出，不自动重放。重启后缺失结果只补一次中断事实。
- 会话切换、
/new、换模型和外部编辑草稿不停止后台工作。换模型影响后续请求；其他已打开会话保留各自连接。 - 当前回复完成后，旧用户输入不会自动重跑；仍可通过普通新消息或显式恢复续做。明确放弃旧方案时，内部 Agent 可结算其未完成委派，无需先让失败的子工作成功。
当前数据格式
会话直接保存到数据目录的 sessions.sqlite，旧会话不迁移。当前快照要求必需字段完整，拒绝未知字段；SQLite 只创建当前完整 schema，不检测或补旧列，不回填旧事件。保存的连接配置继续使用当前配置接口。
工作区和认证源各使用一把稳定物理锁，不保留旧锁或 pending 标记接线。公开 TUI slash 只有 /new /model /connect /help /quit。
Rust API 删除 UnknownWrite、SessionState.unknown_writes 和 Engine::resolve_write。保留 post / step / stop / resume；新增 profile_recipe 只读当前连接配置。
工作区物理写锁、输入 revision、SQLite 原子提交和 Rig 原生调用/结果身份继续有效。停止不等于撤销已经发生的效果。

/connectfor saved API connections or ChatGPT subscription login;/modelaccepts the provider's native model name. Existing local Codex login can be reused.- Two-line session entries with a name, actual state, local activity time, and distinct current/selection indicators.
/newopens the composer; empty sessions do not occupy the sidebar. - Native Windows shell execution, process-tree cancellation, atomic file replacement, private credential files, editor, and clipboard support.

Each archive contains the executable, INSTALL.txt, README, and MIT license. SHA256SUMS covers the release files; release-builds.json records the exact source commit, target, toolchain, and archive hash.
macOS builds target macOS 15 or newer. Windows builds are tested on Windows Server 2025 (x64) and Windows 11 (ARM64); use an interactive terminal, preferably Windows Terminal. Linux binaries use static musl and do not require glibc. Optional Bedrock, Vertex AI, and Candle integrations are source-build features, not included in these standard binaries. Keyboard handling depends on the terminal.
Install
Extract the archive for your platform. On macOS/Linux:

boneAdd ~/.local/bin to your PATH if needed. On Windows, run ./bone.exe in PowerShell or copy bone.exe into a directory on your user PATH.
Start with /connect to choose your model connection; /new begins another conversation. Git is needed for Git diff features. Model use requires a supported provider's credentials or a compatible ChatGPT subscription.
Windows shell commands use cmd.exe. Use a local drive or map a network workspace to a drive letter; shell execution refuses UNC working directories because cmd.exe would otherwise switch to the Windows directory. Clipboard copying preserves Unicode text and uses Windows CRLF line endings.
Compatibility and verification
The rebuilt core uses ~/.bone/v2 (under USERPROFILE on Windows) and does not migrate the old 0.4.x runtime state. Existing 0.9.x state remains in that directory. Use a private user directory for data and credentials.
All six native runners must pass the Rust unit/integration suite and both original and extracted-binary CLI smoke checks before this release is published. These checks use local protocol fixtures; they do not certify every provider or personal login. The archives are not code-signed or notarized.

Configuration and credentials, rebuilt for static Linux releases
BONE 0.4.0 replaces the mixed SQLite/keyring configuration stack with explicit, versioned files and ships statically linked musl binaries for Linux.
Highlights
- User settings and provider profiles now live in
~/.bone/config.toml. - Workspace overrides live in
<workspace>/.bone/config.tomland use an explicit trust flow. - Session overrides, project-config trust records, and other runtime state remain in SQLite.
- API keys now live in the private user file
~/.bone/credentials.toml; ChatGPT OAuth data lives separately under~/.bone/providers/. BONE_HOMEcan replace~/.bonewith an explicit absolute directory.- Configuration precedence is now
Session > Project > User. /reload-configreloads files explicitly without a background file watcher.- Linux downloads are static musl builds for x86_64 and aarch64. Both are checked with
readelfand smoke-tested in Alpine.
Breaking upgrade notes
This release intentionally does not migrate old user/workspace configuration from SQLite or API keys from the operating-system keyring. Recreate your profiles and enter API keys again after upgrading. Existing session overrides may remain in SQLite, and old keyring entries are left untouched for you to remove if desired.
Environment-based API-key injection and bone run --api-key-env have been removed. For automation, provision a key through stdin before running:

--base-url https://api.openai.com/v1Workspace configuration never stores credentials or provider endpoints. Headless runs reject an untrusted project configuration; review it and pass --trust-project-config to persist trust for its current content digest.
