What's new
Gateway runs now bring each repository checkout up to date with the remote default branch before starting a session. If a checkout cannot be safely advanced, the run stops without discarding its contents and reports why; operators can use a permission-checked Discord recovery flow to preview replacing it with a fresh clone, while prior checkouts remain available as capped backups. Update and recovery operations are journaled so interrupted work can be reconciled safely, and provenance records whether the checkout advanced. #1675
Gateway startup failures now produce generic stderr output and exit with status 1 instead of logging exception details. #1677
