Installing: download Nitely_*_x64-setup.exe and run it; no administrator rights are needed. The installer is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns the first time: choose More info, then Run anyway. The nitely_* file is the command-line tool on its own.

Checking a download: SHA256SUMS.txt lists each file's SHA-256; compare it with Get-FileHash <file> in PowerShell.

macOS (Apple Silicon): download Nitely_0.1.0_ea73da5_aarch64.dmg, open it, and drag Nitely into Applications. This app and disk image are signed with Quixet LLC's Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Intel Macs are not supported by this asset.

The Mac package comes from the successful macOS CI job for commit ea73da5343aa69a36c1d3be7f0d197858456abe1, the same source commit as this Windows nightly. It reports version 0.1.0 (dev channel), so automatic updates are disabled; install subsequent releases manually. The bundled CLI is at /Applications/Nitely.app/Contents/MacOS/nitely; run that binary with install to put the CLI on your command path.

On macOS, check the downloaded disk image against its entry in SHA256SUMS.txt with shasum -a 256 <file>.
