Major release adopting Frost UI 4 and fQuery 5, adding compiled ESM exports, and improving password scoring, form synchronization, and configurable feedback.

Breaking Changes

• Requires @fr0st/ui 4 and @fr0st/query 5 as peer dependencies. Browser applications must load compatible builds; Frost UI's all-in-one bundle supplies both dependencies.
• The package root now resolves to the compiled ESM bundle. Package exports expose the root, dist/*, and src/*; internal prototype and static modules have been replaced with private component methods and src/strength.js.
• Reworked the built-in scoring heuristic to prioritize length, normalize Unicode, and penalize common passwords, repeated patterns, sequences, and keyboard rows. Scores can differ from previous releases.
• Supplied levels and commonPasswords arrays now replace defaults completely instead of merging with default entries. Custom levels must include a starting threshold of 0 and be sorted by ascending score.
• Declared Node.js support is ^20.19.0 || ^22.13.0 || >=24.

Fixed

• Cleared stale feedback text when a level has an empty or omitted label.
• Refreshed the indicator after form resets, including inputs associated through the form attribute, while respecting canceled resets and disposed instances.
• Kept static scores within the documented 0–100 range, including long passwords containing predictable patterns.
• Recognized leading common-password substitutions and combinations of substitutions, decorations, and numeric prefixes or suffixes.
• Preserved supplied array configuration without retaining unwanted default entries; an empty common-password list disables list matching.

Improved

• Added configurable common-password matching and a custom scorer callback, with finite instance scores clamped to 0–100.
• Preserved existing aria-describedby values during initialization and restored the original state on disposal.
• Updated the demo for Frost UI 4 with themes, RTL layouts, configurable examples, and responsive styling.
• Added compiled ESM and UMD bundles with source maps, modernized the build tooling, and updated development dependencies.
