Redis: Complete Health Intelligence & Recommendations Engine
Redis Complete Health Intelligence (v0.33.3)
New Metrics (80+ total)
- Latency: p50, p99, p99.9 percentiles displayed + health-checked
- SLOWLOG: Fetches top slow queries via
SLOWLOG GETwith timestamp, duration, command - Memory: RSS overhead ratio, allocator info, lazyfree pending objects
- Clients: Capacity % (connected/maxclients), input/output buffer sizes
- Persistence: Fork duration (
latest_fork_usec), AOF size, rewrite status - Replication: Lag bytes (slave vs master offset), backlog size
- Server: hz, arch_bits, cluster_enabled, pub/sub channels
New Health Checks (16 rules, was 8)
- p99 latency >10ms (-10), >1ms (-5)
- RSS ratio >2.0x (-5) — allocator overhead detection
- Client capacity >80% (-5) — connection exhaustion risk
- Replication lag >10MB (-10) — slave falling behind
- Slow queries max >500ms (-5)
- Fork duration >500ms (-5) — large dataset persistence delay
- Lazyfree pending >1000 (-3)
- Master IO >10s ago (-5) — link degradation
Recommendations Engine
Data-driven setup advice based on actual workload analysis:
- Memory: Optimal maxmemory based on current usage, policy recommendations
- Eviction: Detects policy misconfigurations (volatile-* with no TTL keys)
- Connections: maxclients sizing based on actual client load
- Persistence: RDB/AOF optimization, fork delay mitigation
- Performance: io-threads suggestion for high throughput, network tuning
- TTL Coverage: Warns about unbounded growth from missing TTLs
- Replication: HA recommendations for unprotected large datasets
- Slow Queries: Pattern analysis from SLOWLOG data
New UI Sections
- LATENCY & SLOW LOG: Percentile summary + slow query table
- RECOMMENDATIONS: Numbered actionable advice based on real metrics
- Enhanced HEALTH STATUS panel with 5 new indicators
- Enhanced MEMORY/PERSISTENCE/REPLICATION with new fields
