Password rules are now stated up front and failures explain themselves. Instead of a blank 'Invalid password', the sign-up form tells you exactly what's missing (for example, 'Password needs an uppercase letter and a number') and the hint lists the requirement before you type.

Existing 3.x installs update automatically on next quit.
