Added

• Sessions in the Claude desktop app (Code tab) and the Codex desktop app are recognized as desktop seats: team status shows them as such, and they are never recorded against a terminal pane. Message delivery is unchanged. (#1563, #1565)

• Remote sync no longer leaves a small temp file behind for every message it applies; on a long-running synced team these filled the temp directory (on Linux tmpfs, until it ran out of inodes) (#1572)
• install --update removes the temp files leaked before this fix, and doctor reports them (doctor --fix removes them) (#1575)
• Stop treating a missing TaskList entry as a failed watch (#1571)
• Drop the previous name's placement record for this pane on a switch (#1568)

If you use remote sync and are already affected

Check whether you use remote sync: ~/.agents/skills/agmsg/scripts/remote.sh status lists each team, and only teams shown as connected are affected.

If your temp directory is already full (on Linux, commands fail with "No space left on device" even though the disk has room), free it before updating. This removes only files that match the leaked files exactly: directly in the temp directory, named tmp. plus 10 characters, exactly 3 bytes containing the line ok, and older than 10 minutes:

Then update with npx agmsg@latest install --update, which removes the rest. Afterwards, doctor reports any that remain and doctor --fix removes them.
