Commerce 0.1.2 — summary pagination preview

Choose a tag to compare

@krflol krflol released this 03 Oct 20:00

Commerce 0.1.2 keeps order-summary totals and the closing note together in Studio, Contrast and Quiet, for built-in layouts and newly created starter templates. Existing saved templates retain their CSS; the README includes a two-rule snippet for opting into the change.

This is an evaluation preview for staging stores. Free and Pro archives are both version 0.1.2, using Fullbleed Node 0.1.2 / engine 2.5.6. Replace the base plugin first, then Pro. WordPress.org review, paid checkout, automatic updates and merchant production pilots remain separate launch requirements. Pro automation requires a private renderer.

Verification includes 180 independently parsed PDFs across three designs, A4/Letter, built-in/starter layouts and 15 item counts. All item references and store amounts are present exactly once, with totals and closing notes together. The prior source fails 12 cases. A saved 0.1.1 template produces identical PDF bytes, and the six short examples are unchanged.

The retained evidence also covers Chrome, Firefox and WebKit staff/customer/alert workflows; actual 0.1.1 ZIP upgrades in HPOS and legacy storage; native WordPress Plugin Check; authorization checks; and synthetic private renderer/TLS/SMTP delivery. The local browser demo passes 14 checks, including a long starter saved in the editor and downloaded after reload. These synthetic checks do not establish external email deliverability or Shopify marketplace approval.

Download the free ZIP, optional Pro ZIP, checksums and verification evidence below. The evidence archive contains the actual synthetic PDFs and previews, including the previous failing pagination cases.

Commerce 0.1.1 evaluation preview: custom text and failure alerts

Choose a tag to compare

@krflol krflol released this 03 Oct 18:44

Fullbleed Commerce 0.1.1 updates customized PDF text and packages optional administrator failure summaries for the WooCommerce Pro preview.

The free plugin includes the visual and HTML/CSS template editor, embedded logos, saved designs, PDF previews and local browser generation. Its bundled renderer is Fullbleed Node 0.1.2 / engine 2.5.6; custom bold headings keep their appearance and extract once. No Fullbleed account or remote renderer is required for the free plugin.

The separate Pro ZIP includes automatic attachments to selected WooCommerce emails, customer account downloads, activity history, two additional designs and batches of up to 25 orders. Automated delivery requires an operator-managed private renderer. Administrator failure summaries are opt-in, check hourly and make at most one mail attempt per 24 hours. They contain failure counts and recovery guidance, without customer details or PDFs; they never resend customer messages automatically.

Upgrade on staging: back up the store and export templates, upload the free ZIP and choose Replace current with uploaded, then replace Pro if installed. Both packages are version 0.1.1. Saved designs, revisions and enabled automation survive upgrades from the published alpha.3 ZIPs. New failure alerts remain disabled until enabled by an administrator.

Verification at source e9732f8d73ea63349451b6ad982dfc66c95e3ae8:

  • All 45 shared tests and six real PDF designs pass; the designs were visually inspected.
  • Chrome, Playwright Firefox and Playwright WebKit each pass 36 staff, customer and alert checks on Linux. Windows Chrome separately passes 26 staff/customer checks with identical fixture PDFs.
  • Both WooCommerce order-storage modes pass 23 real ZIP-upgrade checks, 84 email/activity/alert checks and 38 customer authorization checks on Linux.
  • Native WordPress passes strict Plugin Check and 12 Chrome editing/download checks. A private native WordPress/TLS/renderer/SMTP deployment passes 72 checks, including real queued mail and a three-page PDF received in its isolated inbox.
  • The public package ZIPs are byte-identical to the Windows and Linux candidates. Checksums, detailed verification and the retained synthetic evidence archive accompany this release.

The previous main-branch Chrome alert error was not reproduced; the checker now preserves error details without weakening its strict gate. The evidence records a local fixture readiness timeout and the successful standalone recovery.

Evaluation preview: paid checkout, automatic updates, production merchant operation and marketplace approval remain open. WordPress.org submission is pending review. Private SMTP receipt does not establish external email deliverability. Playwright WebKit is not branded Safari or physical-device testing. The Shopify adapter's synthetic checks pass; this release does not deploy or publish the Shopify app. Order summaries are not fiscal invoices; refunds and unsupported glyphs remain rejected.

Fullbleed Commerce alpha.3: automation activity and verified upgrades

Choose a tag to compare

@krflol krflol released this 03 Oct 09:28

Fullbleed Commerce alpha.3 packages the WooCommerce automation activity view and the visual editor's WordPress integration fixes. This is a staging evaluation preview; paid sales, automatic updates and marketplace listings are not live.

What changed

  • WooCommerce → Fullbleed activity in Pro shows the latest email-attachment and customer-download results, filters failures, links to the order, and explains recovery. A successful retry clears the old failure. The status describes PDF preparation, not customer receipt.
  • The visual editor uses WordPress's shared Backbone, Underscore and CodeMirror without replacing their global behavior. Visual editing, HTML/CSS customization and saved designs remain available in the free plugin.
  • Upgrading from alpha.2 preserves both document templates, their revisions and automation settings. The new activity table initializes after the update.

Install or upgrade

For a new staging installation, activate WooCommerce, upload the free ZIP, then open WooCommerce → Fullbleed documents. Install the separate Pro ZIP to evaluate batch downloads and optional server automation.

To upgrade, back up the staging store and export templates. Upload the new free ZIP through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose Replace current with uploaded, then repeat for Pro. Keep both packages on this version. Existing enabled workflows stay enabled: check the renderer connection and a synthetic order after updating. There is no automatic updater in this preview.

Verified for this release

  • Both downloadable ZIPs match the Windows and Linux builds byte for byte.
  • 45 shared tests; 60 email/activity checks and 38 customer-download checks in each of HPOS and legacy storage.
  • 20 upgrade checks in each storage mode on Windows and Linux, using the real alpha.2 ZIPs and WordPress's package replacement path.
  • 14 real Chrome checks on the upgraded Pro store; 12 on the local sample-store journey; 13 on the public demo in the authorized browser session; 11 on native WordPress with the free ZIP. All five public demo PDF artifacts match the local files byte for byte.
  • Strict WordPress Plugin Check reports no errors. Renderer deployment, Shopify integration and container jobs pass.

Checks use fictional orders. Email hooks and real PDF generation are exercised through a test transport; production email delivery is not claimed. The sample store demonstrates the free editor and browser downloads, not Pro automation. Order summaries are not fiscal invoices; refunded orders and unsupported glyphs are rejected. Merchant pilots, Safari coverage, paid lifecycle testing and marketplace review remain open.

The retained verification record contains exact checks, source commits, PDF hashes and scope. The pinned sample-store Blueprint additionally corrects its download link to use the installed plugin version; four focused public browser checks verify that notice change.

packages.json and SHA256SUMS.txt record the archive hashes. WordPress plugin code is GPL-compatible; the Fullbleed engine remains MIT.

Additional browser verification

The unchanged alpha.3 base and Pro ZIPs now pass 144 browser checks across Chrome, Playwright Firefox and Playwright WebKit on Windows and Linux: 12 merchant-editor checks and 12 customer-account checks per combination. Default, edited, saved, batch and customer PDFs are byte-identical across the six combinations; final PDF pages were rendered and visually inspected.

The browser workflow record retains exact versions, archive/document hashes, test scope and Linux CI. These are synthetic headless-browser checks, not branded Safari, physical-device or production email-delivery verification. Customer renderer transport uses a test filter around actual Fullbleed output. No runtime package, tag or download checksum was changed.

Fullbleed Commerce 0.1.0-alpha.2 - Reliable browser startup

Choose a tag to compare

@krflol krflol released this 03 Oct 05:42

This update fixes a slow-page-load bug: PDF generation and template editing wait until the browser tools and any installed add-on have initialized. Deliberately delayed base and Pro scripts pass real Chrome checks; Enter no longer submits an unhandled form.

Design your order documents visually or with HTML/CSS, then reuse the same templates in native commerce workflows.

This is a staging evaluation preview. Paid sales, update subscriptions and marketplace listings are not live.

Download and try

Try the browser demo with two fictional orders, or follow the WooCommerce walkthrough. The temporary demo includes the free editor and real PDF downloads; Pro automation is not enabled there.

  • fullbleed-commerce-0.1.0-alpha.2.zip — the free WooCommerce plugin. Install and activate WooCommerce, upload this ZIP under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then open WooCommerce → Fullbleed documents. Create order summaries and packing slips; edit templates visually or in HTML/CSS; embed logos and export template backups. PDFs render in your browser. No account, quota, watermark or server renderer is required.
  • fullbleed-commerce-pro-0.1.0-alpha.2.zip — the separate Pro evaluation add-on. Requires the free plugin. Adds two designs, batch ZIP downloads, opt-in attachments to existing WooCommerce transactional emails, and authorized customer-account downloads. The automated features require the optional private server renderer described in the automation guide.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt and packages.json — archive checksums and sizes. Both packages include license notices and readable source/build instructions. The WordPress code is GPL-compatible; Fullbleed core remains MIT.

Use a staging store with sample orders. Order summaries are not fiscal invoices. Refunds, some edited-order cases and unsupported glyphs are rejected explicitly. This preview does not promise immutable invoice archives or legal compliance.

Verified behavior

All 44 shared tests and the full Linux integration/container checks pass. These exact ZIPs were installed for real Chrome editing, saving, preview and download checks. Windows and Linux archives match byte for byte. Retained checks cover WooCommerce HPOS and legacy order storage, authorization, automatic attachment failure recovery, customer ownership and private downloads. See verification and remaining launch work and the successful Linux run.

The repository also contains the Shopify app and its native Flow actions, but these ZIPs are WordPress plugins. Shopify installation, paid lifecycle validation and marketplace review remain separate launch work. No hosted rendering plan, checkout, renewal service or paid support commitment is launched by this preview.

Retained alpha.2 release evidence identifies the release and CI commits, public download hashes, the public demo journey, and guide deployment.
