Fullbleed for Node.js 0.1.1
The Node package now uses Fullbleed 2.5.5, fixing gradient fills that were present in PDFs but missing from native PNG previews. The report example again uses gradient chart bars; its PDF bytes are unchanged.
npm install https://github.com/fullbleed-engine/fullbleed-node/releases/download/v0.1.1/fullbleed-0.1.1.tgzNode.js 22+ is required. The package includes its WebAssembly engine and bundled fonts, with no Python, Rust compiler, or browser needed at runtime. The JavaScript API is unchanged. See the API and runnable examples.
Thirteen render/recovery tests and TypeScript checks pass on Node 22/24/26 across Linux, Windows, and macOS. The attached tarball is the exact package installed in all nine combinations. Seven retained fixtures, including linear, translucent, and hard radial gradients, have identical native/WebAssembly PDF and PNG bytes on Windows and Linux. Direct color checks catch the previously blank gradient regions.
Download the three-page report, or inspect its corrected preview:
The API covers ordinary PDF generation. Profiles, overlays, and compiled VDP are available through the Python and Rust APIs. These fixture checks do not establish universal rendering parity or PDF standards certification. Unsupported PDF shading programs remain outside the engine's preview subset.
The Node adapter is versioned separately from the engine. MIT licensed, with font and dependency notices included in the package. Verification records, retained outputs, logs, and checksums are attached.
Fullbleed for Node.js 0.1.0
Generate PDF invoices and reports from HTML/CSS in Node.js 22+, using the Fullbleed 2.5.4 Rust engine compiled to WebAssembly. The package bundles Inter, DM Serif Display, and Bebas Neue fonts and needs no Python, Rust compiler, or browser at runtime.
npm install https://github.com/fullbleed-engine/fullbleed-node/releases/download/v0.1.0/fullbleed-0.1.0.tgzUse await renderPdf({ html, css, previewDpi: 96 }) to obtain PDF and PNG buffers. ESM, CommonJS, TypeScript declarations, custom fonts, in-memory assets, cancellation, deadlines, and page limits are included. See the API and runnable examples.
The attached tarball is the exact artifact installed by all nine CI combinations: Node 22/24/26 on Linux, Windows, and macOS. Ten render/recovery tests and the TypeScript checks pass on each combination. Four ordinary document fixtures have matching native/WebAssembly PDF and PNG bytes on Windows and Linux. The release includes the verification report, retained outputs, logs, and checksums.
This first API covers ordinary PDF generation. Profiles, overlays, and compiled VDP remain available through the Python and Rust APIs. Some linear-gradient fills present in PDFs are omitted from PNG previews by this engine version; the report example uses solid chart fills. These checks do not establish PDF standards conformance.
The Node adapter is versioned separately from the engine. MIT licensed, with font and dependency notices included in the package.
