v1.0.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 04 Jun 01:58
tickwarden v1.0.0

Complete: hardware/cgroup-aware tuning that applies + adapts, cross-layer
diagnostics below the JVM, a web dashboard, a self-running daemon, config file,
and host self-protection — with a tuning model measured on real hardware.
See CHANGELOG.md.

v0.7.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Jun 23:13
tickwarden v0.7.0: adaptive tuning (Tier 3)

Live sim/view distance scaling — companion runtime setter (no restart) +
controller (fast-down/slow-up, render floors, deadband) + on-join pre-sizing for
the expected peak. Opt-in, dry-run by default. The roadmap is complete.

v0.6.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Jun 22:24
tickwarden v0.6.0: measured tuning model

- -settled play-style factor (flying vs survival), measured ~2.5x via fly-sim
- loadgen: fly + player + entity load types (Carpet fake-player A/B harness)
- player count validated LINEAR; clustered factor corrected N/2 -> N/3 (measured)
- capacity cliff measured (~6 spread players at sim-12, matches budget math)
The distance model is now empirically validated end to end.

v0.5.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Jun 20:57
tickwarden v0.5.0: Carpet fake-player load + measured sim-distance model

v0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Jun 20:37
tickwarden v0.4.0

- companion 0.3.0: players_peak persists across restarts (fixes auto-detect
  under-reading after a restart)
- loadtest -load entity: experimental simulation-load generator (force-load +
  summon AI mobs, with spawn suppression + clean teardown)
- finding: simulation cost is main-thread bound (MSPT), distinct from off-thread
  generation; a true sim-distance A/B needs Carpet fake-players

v0.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Jun 19:56
tickwarden v0.3.0

- optimize: one-shot unified analysis (detect + mods + players → full plan)
- companion builds for any Minecraft version (gradle properties + docs)
- shared internal/confidence type (consolidation pass)
- live-validated: generation is no longer a tick bottleneck on the ref box

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Jun 02:57
tickwarden v0.2.0 — the below-the-JVM suite

Adds the layer no other Minecraft tool covers:
- ostune: CPU governor / swappiness / THP / I/O-scheduler tuning
- thermal: CPU thermal + frequency-throttle detection
- host / iostorm: name the noisy neighbor + advise an io.max throttle
- hotspots: lag mapped to chunk coordinates (companion 0.2.0 /hotspots)
- pregen: host-load-aware Chunky control
- mod intelligence: conflict + suggestion advice in tune -mods-dir
Plus max-perf, player-count-aware distance tuning and apply/bench/bench-diff.

v0.1.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Jun 02:34
tickwarden v0.1.0

Hardware-aware, host-aware tuning + observability for self-hosted Minecraft.
detect/tune (player-count + mod aware, max-perf), apply (with locks + revert),
watch + bench + bench-diff (TPS x cgroup PSI), host (name the noisy neighbor),
loadtest (reproducible Chunky load), and the Fabric TPS companion mod.
