We formed around one assignment: build our own version of finn.no in a week. We kept the scope to a single vertical — post a listing, browse, search, view the details — so we could ship something finished rather than something half-built.
funn — a Norwegian marketplace app in vanilla JavaScript with an MVC structure. No framework, no build step, no dependencies.
The design document is in docs/, and it covers the scope, the data model, the architecture and the risks we knew about going in.
- Written user stories on a board, one owner per card
- One branch and one pull request per card, reviewed by someone else on the team
- All code in English; Norwegian only in text shown to the user
- The whole team understands the whole project, and we pair on the parts that cross layers
