Added

  • New database starter meta — optional Tags category (parser-enabled, pinned to Videos/Images) when adding a database; on by default
  • Home chart stats widget — line chart of media/tag activity (added, viewed, edited) with 7D/30D/90D/1Y/All ranges (enabled by default)

Fixed

  • Library grid after API hiccups — a failed list refresh no longer wipes an already-loaded page back to “Nothing here yet / add files”; file-existence check errors no longer mark cards as missing
  • Face recognition on Windows — temp mediachips-faces-* cleanup no longer fails the scan with EPERM: operation not permitted, unlink (read-only / locked files after frame extract)
  • Release build — fix vue-tsc errors in mixed-tag autocomplete menu props so the frontend CI/release build can ship

Changed

  • Settings sidebar — clearer section titles (e.g. Library & tags, Database & backups) with stronger nav label weight

Removed

  • Video frame auto-tag / object recognition tagging — removed Enhance “Auto-tag from what’s on screen”, Recognize objects, and related APIs; CLIP visual-search indexing and chapter labeling remain
