Summary

• bump VERSION from 0.1.1 to 0.1.2
• prepare the first normal tag-triggered release that verifies the Go build-info fallback

Dogfood evidence

• built Patchlog from green main commit ee1882eaeb8bc3146abcba8afb81ee68f8751f58
• ran patchlog release --bump patch --gate --no-cache --dry-run
• dry-run planned the exact changed-file list: VERSION
• filesystem, Git status, index, refs, object database, and HEAD fingerprints were identical before and after dry-run
• revalidated clean repository state, remote main, current VERSION, and absent v0.1.2 immediately before apply
• transactional apply returned the exact changed-file list: VERSION
• verified the resulting diff contains only VERSION: 0.1.1 -> 0.1.2
• verified an archive-style build reports patchlog v0.1.2

Rollout

After green PR CI and green post-merge main CI, create annotated v0.1.2 from that exact commit. The normal tag-push workflow must publish the release before fresh @v0.1.2 and @latest install checks.

Proxy metrics remain diagnostic only and are not release gates.
