Changelog

This is the dated history of the DeepDelve model bake off, the live testing incidents, and the architecture fixes that came out of them. It's split into parts, most recent first.

Parts

1. Recent (2026-07-26 through 2026-08-17): the current run of dated entries, most recent first. Covers the 2026-08-17 seven fix arc, the completion check bug fixes, the first hosted frontier model test, a couple of fine tuning rounds, and the 2026-07-26 model disqualification day, split in two:
   • Part I: 2026-07-28 through 2026-08-17.
   • Part II: the rest of 2026-07-26, the vLLM re test day.
2. Findings From Live Testing: things we noticed during live testing that haven't been acted on yet.
3. Bake off Investigation Log (2026-07-11 through 2026-07-21): the earlier model bake off and backend investigation. It's long, so we split it roughly in half:
