OpenTS-A v1.3 — Easy Install Update

OpenTS-A v1.3 makes getting Tiberian Sun running on Android significantly easier, while also bringing control, visual and stability improvements.

What's new

Easy game setup
OpenTS-A can now handle the freeware game setup directly from Android.

The APK does not contain Tiberian Sun game data. Required game files are obtained separately by the installer/setup system.

Stability
Fixed a native crash that could occur during longer or structure-heavy matches when a tag referenced a missing trigger.

This fix has been stress-tested with heavy structure building beyond the point at which the previous build crashed.

Updating from an older OpenTS-A release

You can install v1.3 directly over an existing properly signed OpenTS-A release.

You should not need to uninstall the previous version.

The upgrade path from the previous public release to v1.3 was tested successfully before release.

Installation

1. Download OpenTS-A-v1.3-Easy-Install-Update.apk.
2. Open the APK on your Android device.
3. Allow installation from your browser/file manager if Android asks.
4. Install OpenTS-A.
5. Launch the game and follow the game-file setup process.
