@gHashTag gHashTag released this 11 Oct 04:59

trios-host 0.1.1. It is built from trios queen 8cd6df7, which is what production runs. Epic: #1756; release plan: #1763.

New since 0.1.0:

  • trios-host statement --queen <url> --epoch <n> [--queen-key <hex>]: a host checks its own credit leaves against the Queen's signed epoch statement (Ed25519, RFC 6962 Merkle inclusion).
  • The economics from #1771 and #1795: sybil rules, pay-for-work kinds, and one operator credited once per job.

The pinned toolchain (t27c, t27b, zig) is unchanged from 0.1.0; its digests stay in specs/hosting/toolchain.t27.

Join on a Mac:

curl -fLo trios-host https://github.com/gHashTag/trios/releases/download/trios-host-v0.1.1/trios-host-darwin-arm64 && echo "63dc58878b09e2af955176333412240e378b799eeafe65a7a5130e11df65cee7  trios-host" | shasum -a 256 -c - && chmod +x trios-host && ./trios-host join --queen https://api.t27.ai

Checked in production on 2026-10-11: for epoch 0, the statement verified for both owner hosts (ok on every leaf), and a wrong Queen key was refused with exit 1. The production Queen key is 1d90f33e31d90296f6f05652b0e78e6d4c39d533dae62c91ba68b14d5d0a25e1.

bun build --compile is not byte-reproducible, so the pin is the digest of each uploaded file:

Assets

asset built from how
trios-host-darwin-arm64, trios-host-linux-x64, trios-host-linux-arm64 trios c4df0f5b5 (branch hosting-1b-lane-a) bun build --compile --target=bun-<platform> tools/trios-host/trios-host.ts (bun 1.3.11)
t27c-darwin-arm64, t27b-darwin-arm64 t27 master cf42584c9 cargo build --release -p t27c -p t27b on macOS arm64
t27c-linux-x64 t27 master cf42584c9 cargo build --release -p t27c on the t27c lab (Debian 12, x86_64; needs glibc 2.34+)
t27c-linux-arm64, t27b-linux-arm64 t27 master cf42584c9 the same, --target aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu (glibc 2.34+)

SHA256SUMS lists every asset's digest. The t27c and t27b digests and sizes are data in gHashTag/t27 specs/hosting/toolchain.t27. trios-host join downloads only those files, and keeps each one only at its pinned digest and size. There is no t27b for x64: t27b emits AArch64, so the Queen never gives an x64 host a t27b half.

The trios-host binaries are not byte-reproducible (bun build --compile). Pin the digest of the file you download.
