0.4.2 - 2026-10-01

Added

  • English interface. napsql ships in English and Italian. English is the default; a fresh install opens in the language of your desktop, and you can switch at any time from Settings → Language. This is separate from the Locale setting, which only governs how numbers, dates and currency are formatted. The assistant answers in the language you picked.

Fixed

  • Two dialogs and the relationship-diagram ordering used a fixed Italian locale regardless of the Locale setting; they follow it now.
  • Export dialog titles were built once at startup instead of per call.
  • Security and stability.

0.4.1 - 2026-09-30

Added

  • Export to JSON. The export button, in the editor toolbar and above the results, now opens a
menu with CSV and JSON. The JSON file is an array of objects, one per row, keyed by column
name: NULL stays null, dates are ISO 8601, binary values are 0x… hex strings, and
bigint/decimal stay strings so no digit is lost to floating point. Unnamed or duplicate
column names get a positional suffix (column3, id_2) instead of overwriting each other.

Fixed

  • CSV files open in columns in Excel. The export used , as separator, which a European-locale
Excel doesn't split on, so every row landed in a single cell. The separator is now ;, and
decimals are written with a comma (3,14, no thousands separator) so Excel reads them as numbers
rather than text. The UTF-8 BOM is still there, so accented characters come through intact.
