Sheafwise v0.9.1 is a public pre-release for a dedicated host and a trusted operator or small trusted environment.

Highlights

• Multiple named Provider profiles. Each profile owns exactly one Chat Completions or Responses protocol and is exposed at /providers/<id>/v1; /v1 remains the configured default-profile alias.
• Beta encrypted full-dataset backup and exact-version restore for configuration, managed secrets, SQLite state, Files, Artifacts, and durable Workspace snapshots.
• Exact upstream-owned Responses requests with store:false are byte-transparent and stateless; stored Responses keep durable Provider affinity and validate IDs before success is exposed.
• Provider credentials used by recovery commands are resolved only inside isolated configuration loading. Archive passphrases remain stdin-only.
• Restore binds plan and apply to authenticated archive bytes, rejects unsafe environment controls, and rebuilds canonical destination permissions and ownership.
• The installer activates only a private, fully provenance-verified source snapshot.

Compatibility boundary

Backup and restore are exact-version only: a v0.9.1 archive restores only into a fresh matching v0.9.1 managed layout. v0.9.0 and every other release are not migration sources. In-place upgrade, cross-version migration, rollback, Provider fallback, and billing-period spend control are not included.
