v0.15.3
Tighten failed CI log excerpts
- Bound default failure context to action and step groups, with headings naming the failed step.
- Recognize apt fetch failures in log excerpts; use --grep or save complete logs for deeper searches.
Full Changelog: v0.15.2...v0.15.3
v0.15.2
Improve CI failure context and merge workflows
- Limit failed-job log excerpts to relevant step groups, preserving nested output.
- Show failure previews and a full-log command while waiting for CI.
- Support non-interactive PR merges with utpr merge --yes.
Full Changelog: v0.15.1...v0.15.2
v0.15.1
Improve CI workflow output
- Share duration estimates across workflow runs
- Label repeated workflow headers with run numbers
Full Changelog: v0.15.0...v0.15.1
v0.15.0
Job duration estimates in ci --watch; fork-first repo support
- ci --watch estimates each running job's duration from the median of
its last 5 successful runs, showing a countdown like
"2m 57s (est 2m 3s remaining)"; the first frame renders immediately
while estimates fill in the background - Job durations render in aligned unit columns, with the elapsed time
and estimate annotation shown separately - Repos where a fork is the primary home of its own PRs are supported;
branch-to-PR lookups fall back across remotes, and the primary repo
can be pinned via UTPR_PRIMARY_REPO or utpr.primary-repo - fetch checks out same-repo PRs under the PR's real branch name
- push uses an explicit refspec when the local branch name differs
from its upstream - ci logs shows failed job logs while the run is still in progress
- PR list endpoints derive merged state from merged_at, so merged PRs
no longer appear closed

v0.14.0
Add utpr quickstart, a guided introduction for humans and AI agents
- New 'utpr quickstart' command: prints a guided introduction to utpr. In a
terminal it renders a styled PR-lifecycle tour (init, push, status/view, ci,
merge-main/pause/resume, finish) with one example per command; when stdout
is piped or with the global --agent flag it prints a plain-text guide
written for AI coding agents instead. --pretty forces the human guide. - The agent guide covers the CI commands (ci, ci --wait, ci logs, ci list,
ci rerun) and advises preferring them over gh; machine-readable JSON modes
(utpr status --json, utpr worktree list --json) with field inventories; how
to avoid interactive prompts (--yes, explicit arguments, push --edit
browser); and notes that agent-facing output is already pre-trimmed, so
there is no need to clip it with head/tail. - 'utpr --help' and bare 'utpr' now advise new users to run 'utpr quickstart'
(or 'utpr quickstart --agent' for AI coding agents). - utpr quickstart works outside a git repository and without GitHub
authentication, so it can be the first thing anyone runs. - Release workflow: the annotated tag message is now read correctly when
building release notes (a checkout quirk previously could show the tagged
commit's message instead).

v0.13.0
Add utpr status — quick PR/issue status table
- New
utpr statuscommand: a one-screen summary of a PR's state, CI
checks with durations, latest review from each reviewer, unresolved
review threads, and local/remote branch sync - Defaults to the current branch's PR; pass a number to target any PR
or issue, or use--issueto pick an issue interactively --jsonfor machine-readable output; markdown table when piped or
with--agent- Status title is colored to match the PR state and set off with a
blank line for easier scanning

v0.12.0
CI debugging tools and agent-friendly output
- New
utpr ci list: recent Actions runs grouped by commit, with
--limit(default 10),--all, and--watch(#5) - New
utpr ci --logs: one-shot fetch of failed-job logs alongside the
status output, with next-step hints when checks are still running utpr cishows a one-line failure reason for each failed check;
--no-reasonsskips itutpr ci logsanchors output on failures, adds--grep "pattern"
with-B/-Acontext, and caps output at--max-bytes; use
--fullto lift the cap- New global
--agentand--prettyflags: all commands emit plain
output when piped or with--agent, and--prettyforces styled
output; commands fail fast on interactive prompts without a TTY utpr viewhonors agent mode for embedded comment output

v0.11.0
Work without a git remote, plus a worktree create command
- New
utpr worktree create [<branch>](alias:new): create a branch in
a new git worktree, equivalent toutpr init --worktree; accepts
--baseand--yes utpr init, resume, andworktree creatework in repositories
without a git remote: local branches and worktrees are created without
remote operations, and issue lookups fail with clear messagesutpr finishfalls back to local cleanup (removing worktrees and
deleting the branch, likeutpr forget) when GitHub is unreachable
or the repo has no remote, after a confirmationutpr forgetworks without a remote, guessing the default branch
from local branches and skipping pulls- New
--yesflags forutpr finishandutpr forgetfor unattended
cleanup; force-removing a worktree with uncommitted changes still
requires confirmation - Local-only commands (
init,resume,worktree,finish,
forget) no longer require GitHub authentication - Safer fallbacks: base-branch fallbacks only trigger when the remote
branch is confirmed deleted; offline PR-number resolution matches the
repository and refuses ambiguous matches; ambiguous default branches
(main and master) are never deleted without a remote to verify

v0.10.0
Add 'utpr ci rerun' command and stacked PR support
- New 'utpr ci rerun' command re-runs failed, all, or specific CI jobs
by name (--job). Supports --pick for interactive run selection and
--agent for unstyled output. - 'utpr finish' and 'utpr merge' now follow a PR's actual base branch
instead of always switching to the default branch, enabling stacked
PR workflows (e.g., feat-y stacked on feat-x). - Handle base branches checked out in linked worktrees by pulling
within the worktree and falling back to the default branch or
detached HEAD as needed. - Fall back to the default branch when a stacked PR's base branch has
been deleted remotely (e.g., parent PR merged and cleaned up). - 'utpr ci rerun --pick' operates on only the selected workflow run
instead of re-fetching all runs for its commit SHA.

v0.9.2
Show branch and commit in CI status output
- Add branch and commit headers to CI status output
- Keep the header plain in agent mode and styled interactively
