Search Provider Fixes (Critical)

  • DuckDuckGo: Switched to JSON API to avoid bot-check/CAPTCHA blocking
  • Google: Added Custom Search JSON API support (set GOOGLE_SEARCH_API_KEY + GOOGLE_SEARCH_CX)
  • SearXNG: Wired searxngUrl config through to MCP tools
  • Circuit-breaker: Providers auto-skip after 3 consecutive failures (5min cooldown)

Search Infrastructure

  • Search result caching (5min TTL LRU) — same query returns instantly
  • Concurrent provider racing — first 2 providers race, fastest wins
  • Provider health tracking with success/failure counts

New Tools

  • browser_act: Added type (fill input) and select (dropdown) actions
  • browser_session: Named persistent sessions with reconnect support
  • browser_capture: Save screenshots to local files via savePath parameter

Security

  • Path traversal fix: savePath validated against workspace roots (CodeQL)
