Creating an Anki card from a word

- Make sure you have Anki and Anki Connect installed on your computer.
- Set the appropriate Anki Connect settings in KonPon.
- Launch Anki.
- From the main window, double click on an imported text or click once on an imported text and then click the "View Text" button.
- Double click on a word within the text.
- From the "Word Info" dialog, click the "Create Anki Card" button.

- From the main window, click on the "View Word Lists" button or click the "View Word Lists" menu item in the "File" menu or use the CTRL+W shortcut.
- From the "Word Lists" dialog, select a list from either the left-side dropdown menu or right-side dropdown menu.
- Double click on a word within a list.
- From the "Word Info" dialog, click the "Create Anki Card" button.

- Navigate to the "Anki Card Creation" dialog by following one of the above methods.
- Select a note type by clicking the button to the right of "Note Type," selecting a note type from the list, and clicking Apply.
- Select a deck type by clicking the button to the right of "Deck Type," selecting a deck from the list, and clicking Apply.
- Enter any desired text into the note fields.
- Enter any desired tags into the tag field. Multiple tags can be entered by entering a space between tags.
- Insert Kana, Kanji, or Pitch Accents of the word into a note field by clicking the "Add to Field" button, selecting a field from the list, and clicking Apply.
- Click the "Send to Anki" button to create the new card in Anki.

- In order for KonPon to retrieve note type and deck type data, please launch Anki before opening the "Anki Card Creation" dialog.
- In order for Anki to create a new card, please launch Anki before pressing the "Send to Anki" button.
- Text can be formatted by clicking on the buttons below "Note Type" and "Deck Type."
