Stable plumOS A30 v1.0.1 release.

English

Superseded by v1.0.2

v1.0.1 remains available for reference, but v1.0.2 is recommended for both fresh installs and existing users.

Use v1.0.2 for new installs:

Existing v1.0.1 users should apply the v1.0.2 update package:
plumos-update-from-v1.0.0-v1.0.1-to-v1.0.2.7z

The v1.0.2 update package does not overwrite user configuration files. It updates only launcher/runtime files needed for the fixes.

Changes in 1.0.1

  • Fixed volume control for PlayStation standalone (standalone:pcsx_rearmed).
  • Rebuilt standalone PCSX-ReARMed so it uses ALSA audio instead of OSS.
  • The small v1.0.1 update archive changed only plumos/emulators/pcsx_rearmed/bin/pcsx.

Known issue fixed in v1.0.2

v1.0.1 still may have BIOS path mismatches:

  • RetroArch's own System/BIOS directory may point to the bundled RetroArch system directory instead of /mnt/SDCARD/Bios.
  • Standalone PCSX-ReARMed may also require the v1.0.2 runtime update to use /mnt/SDCARD/Bios consistently.

Manual RetroArch workaround:

  1. Open Apps -> RetroArch.
  2. Open Settings -> Directory -> System/BIOS.
  3. Select /mnt/SDCARD/Bios.
  4. Return to Main Menu -> Configuration File -> Save Current Configuration.
  5. Restart the game/core.

  • plumos-sdroot-package.7z: full SD-card root package for a fresh install.
  • plumos-update-pcsx-rearmed-alsa-v1.0.1.7z: old v1.0.0-to-v1.0.1 update package. Prefer the v1.0.2 update package now.

v1.0.2 のアップデートパッケージはユーザ設定ファイルを上書きしません。修正に必要な launcher/runtime ファイルだけを更新します。

v1.0.1 の変更点

  • PlayStation standalone (standalone:pcsx_rearmed) の音量調整が効かない問題を修正しました。
  • standalone PCSX-ReARMed を OSS ではなく ALSA audio を使うように再ビルドしました。
  • v1.0.1 の小さなアップデートアーカイブで変更されるのは plumos/emulators/pcsx_rearmed/bin/pcsx のみです。

v1.0.2 で修正された既知の問題

v1.0.1 には BIOS パスの不一致が残っている可能性があります。

  • RetroArch 側の System/BIOS ディレクトリが /mnt/SDCARD/Bios ではなく bundled RetroArch system directory を指す場合があります。
  • standalone PCSX-ReARMed も /mnt/SDCARD/Bios を安定して使うには v1.0.2 の runtime 更新が必要です。

RetroArch 上で手動修正する場合:

  1. Apps -> RetroArch を開きます。
  2. Settings -> Directory -> System/BIOS を開きます。
  3. /mnt/SDCARD/Bios を選択します。
  4. Main Menu -> Configuration File -> Save Current Configuration で保存します。
