plumOS MF v1.0.4

PSP CHD Frontend Update

This maintenance release lets the frontend recognize .chd PSP disc images
and pass them to the bundled standalone PPSSPP runtime. It remains compatible
with Miyoo Flip stock 250527 Firmware and does not modify internal MTD
storage.

  • PSP game lists now recognize .iso, .cso, .chd, and .pbp files.
  • The standalone PPSSPP launch path accepts the selected CHD image without an
    additional extension filter.
  • Existing ROMs, saves, PPSSPP settings, and frontend settings are preserved.

Assets

  • plumOS-MF-v1.0.4-sdroot.7z: complete SD-card-root package for a fresh installation.
  • plumos-mf-update-from-v1.0.0-v1.0.1-v1.0.2-v1.0.3-to-v1.0.4.7z:
    cumulative update for an existing v1.0.0, v1.0.1, v1.0.2, or v1.0.3 SD
    card. Its .sha256 sidecar contains the checksum.
  • SHA256SUMS: checksums for the fresh-install archive and release metadata.
  • release-manifest.json: machine-readable fresh-package provenance.
  • README.txt: short English and Japanese fresh-install instructions.
  • RELEASE_NOTES.md: this English and Japanese release description.

Fresh Install

  1. Prepare an SD card with an MBR partition table and one FAT32 partition.
  2. Extract plumOS-MF-v1.0.4-sdroot.7z once, directly to the SD-card root.
  3. Confirm that .tmp_update, miyoo355, plumos, Roms, BIOS, Images,
    and PLUMOS-MF-RELEASE.txt are directly at the card root.
  4. Put ROMs below Roms/ and user-supplied BIOS files below BIOS/.
  5. Safely eject the card, insert it while the Miyoo Flip is powered off, and
    then power on.

The hidden .tmp_update directory and miyoo355/app/MainUI handoff are
required for stock 250527 Firmware. The archive has no outer directory and
must not be extracted into an additional folder.

Update from v1.0.0, v1.0.1, v1.0.2, or v1.0.3

  1. Power the Miyoo Flip off and remove its existing plumOS SD card.
  2. Extract
    plumos-mf-update-from-v1.0.0-v1.0.1-v1.0.2-v1.0.3-to-v1.0.4.7z once,
    directly to the card root, and allow overwrites.
  3. Safely eject the card, return it to the powered-off Miyoo Flip, and power
    on.

The update does not overwrite ROMs, BIOS files, saves, states, screenshots,
artwork, network credentials, PortMaster/Pyxel state, or active user settings.

Neither package writes to the device's internal MTD storage.

PSP CHDフロントエンド対応

FEでPSPの.chdディスクイメージを認識し、同梱のstandalone PPSSPPへ渡せる
ようにするメンテナンスreleaseです。Miyoo Flip stock 250527 Firmwareとの
互換性を維持し、内蔵MTD storageは変更しません。

  • PSPゲーム一覧で.iso、.cso、.chd、.pbpを認識します。
  • standalone PPSSPP起動経路には別の拡張子制限がなく、選択したCHD imageを
    そのままPPSSPPへ渡します。
  • 既存ROM、save、PPSSPP設定、FE設定は保持します。

配布ファイル

  • plumOS-MF-v1.0.4-sdroot.7z: 新規インストール用の完全なSD card root packageです。
  • plumos-mf-update-from-v1.0.0-v1.0.1-v1.0.2-v1.0.3-to-v1.0.4.7z:
    既存v1.0.0、v1.0.1、v1.0.2、v1.0.3 SD card用の累積updateです。
    checksumは同名の.sha256 fileに記載しています。
  • SHA256SUMS: 新規インストール用archiveとrelease metadataのchecksumです。
  • release-manifest.json: 新規packageの由来を記録した機械可読manifestです。
  • README.txt: 日本語・英語の短い新規導入手順です。
  • RELEASE_NOTES.md: この日本語・英語のrelease説明です。

新規インストール

  1. SD cardをMBR partition table・単一FAT32 partitionで準備します。
  2. plumOS-MF-v1.0.4-sdroot.7zをSD cardのrootへ直接、1回だけ展開します。
  3. .tmp_update、miyoo355、plumos、Roms、BIOS、Images、
    PLUMOS-MF-RELEASE.txtがcard root直下にあることを確認します。
  4. ROMはRoms/、利用者が用意するBIOS fileはBIOS/へ配置します。
  5. SD cardを安全に取り外し、Miyoo Flipの電源を切った状態で挿入してから
    電源を入れます。

stock 250527 Firmwareでは非表示directoryの.tmp_updateと
miyoo355/app/MainUI経路が必要です。archiveには外側のdirectoryがないため、
追加folderを作らずSD card rootへ直接展開してください。

v1.0.0、v1.0.1、v1.0.2、v1.0.3からのアップデート

  1. Miyoo Flipの電源を切り、既存plumOS SD cardを取り出します。
  2. plumos-mf-update-from-v1.0.0-v1.0.1-v1.0.2-v1.0.3-to-v1.0.4.7zを
    card rootへ直接1回だけ展開し、上書きを許可します。
  3. SD cardを安全に取り外し、電源を切ったMiyoo Flipへ戻して電源を入れます。

updateはROM、BIOS、save、state、screenshot、artwork、network credential、
PortMaster/Pyxelの状態、利用中のユーザー設定を上書きしません。

どちらのpackageも実機の内蔵MTD storageへ書き込みません。
