Easier updates

Staying up to date no longer means a trip to your browser.

  • Update right inside the app. When a new version is ready, click Download and install and the Companion takes it from there — it downloads the update and starts the installer for you.
  • See it happen. A progress window shows the download as it goes, and the Companion reopens on the new version once the install finishes.
  • You stay in control. Updates only start when you choose to, and you click through the installer just like before.

Plus the usual round of behind-the-scenes improvements and fixes.
