  • core/retry.py — smart retry engine with adaptive backoff
  • Exponential backoff with additive jitter
  • Failure classification: transient, auth, rate-limited, portal-down
  • Sliding window rate limiter (5 attempts per 60s)
  • Circuit breaker: auto-opens on auth errors, auto-resets after cooldown
  • 311 total tests
