This release of simtools, the simulation toolkit for the CTA Observatory, includes the following main changes:

API Changes

  • Remove obsolete read_value_from_file function from data_reader and corresponding unit tests. (#2272)

Bugfixes

  • Fix writing of CORSIKA input file: add setting of runnumber (RUNNR), HOST, USER. (#2259)
  • Small bug fix in retrieving run times < 1 s: zero should be treated as a valid value. (#2274)
  • Fix sim_telarray output validation and include paths, stabilize PSF calculations, correct waveform plot time axes, and validate expected event counts of zero. (#2294)

Documentation

  • Improve and expand documentation on how to configure and run simulation productions. (#2253)
