Listapp for Home Assistant v0.1.1

Fixed

  • The card no longer intermittently shows "Configuration error". Home Assistant's frontend replaces the browser's custom-element registry while it starts up, and Listapp's card sometimes registered itself just before that happened — so Home Assistant couldn't find the card and showed the red error card instead, until you reloaded. The card now re-registers itself when that swap occurs. (#32)

Upgrading from v0.1.0

Nothing to do beyond the download and a Home Assistant restart. No configuration or entity changes.

Link a Listapp account to Home Assistant and see your lists as todo entities — usable from the built-in to-do card, Assist voice commands, and automations, with live updates. Includes a bundled "Listapp list" Lovelace card.

Install

HACS → Custom repositories → https://github.com/garrett-livefront/listapp-ha, category Integration.

Requires Home Assistant 2026.3.0 or newer, and the My Home Assistant integration for sign-in.

What's in it

  • Each selected list becomes its own todo entity, named after the list.
  • Add, check off, rename, reorder, and delete items — in either direction, live.
  • Lists you only have viewer access to are read-only.
  • Configure lets you change which lists are shown, or re-authenticate in read-only mode.
  • A bundled Lovelace card styled to match Home Assistant's own to-do card.

Known limitations in this release

  • Update your Listapp mobile app to manage this connection from the app. Disconnecting Home Assistant from the app's Connected apps screen needs a recent build; on older versions, disconnect from within Home Assistant instead.
  • A "Configuration error" can appear on the bundled card after a Home Assistant restart. Reloading the page clears it; a fix is in progress.
