v0.7.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 20 Oct 09:43
0a97c60

Using tinclib

  1. Unzip tinclib-v0.7.0.zip into your CEdev project's lib/ folder, giving lib/tinclib/.

  2. Add its sources to your project's makefile:

    CFLAGS = -Wall -Wextra -Oz -Ilib/tinclib/src
    EXTRA_C_SOURCES = $(wildcard lib/tinclib/src/*.c)
  3. #include "tinclib.h" and build with make. From C++, #include "tinclib.hpp" for the tinc:: bindings, and add -Ilib/tinclib/src to CXXFLAGS too.

Keep the library inside your project directory: on Windows, CEdev can't build sources reached through ... The calculator needs the CE C libraries (usbdrvce, srldrvce, fileioc), an ESP8266 board running tinclib-firmware, and TINCLIBC for Wi-Fi setup.

v0.2.0

Changes

First release of tinclib, the TI-84 Plus CE library for Wi-Fi and HTTP through an ESP8266 board.

  • Speaks tinclib-protocol v0.2.0. The board's firmware must also be on 0.2: until 1.0, any other version fails tinc_init() with TINC_ERR_VERSION.
  • One request at a time: tinc_request(), tinc_poll(), tinc_read(). Plain http:// GET only. HTTPS and POST come with later protocol versions.
  • tinc_isActive() waits at most about 8 s while the board is still joining Wi-Fi.
  • tinc_openConfig() hands the user to TINCLIBC for Wi-Fi setup. Your program restarts from main() afterwards, so save your state first. tinc_init() then reports whether setup worked.
  • No malloc, and the linker drops what you don't use: a program that only checks the connection is about 4 KB.
