Wet Paint v1.0.0 — the first sheet
Play it at https://gazhenko.dev/wet-paint/, or download WetPaint.html and open it: the whole game is in that one file, nothing else to install.
- A seaside town that begins as a pencil sketch and is painted in watercolour, wash by wash, as a witch on a broom delivers seven parcels: the harbour, the clock tower, the hangar on the beach, the villa, the cabin in the forest, the lighthouse, and the airship that paints the sky.
- The day turns with the painting, from a cool morning to sunset; at the end the finished page is shown on an easel, and you can fly on at dusk with the lamps lit.
- Keyboard (A D bank, W S climb and dive, Shift faster, Space slow down and land, M mute) or gamepad.
- Everything is generated: the town, Kiki and Jiji, the music-box waltz, the wind, the sea, the gulls.
Files
WetPaint.html— the game, self-contained (about 2 MB). Check it againstSHA256SUMS.txt.wet-paint-v1.0.0-site.zip— the same game as a folder, for hosting it yourself.
Known limits: no one has played this with their own hands yet (it was flown by an autopilot and checked by screenshots on an M1 Pro and an RTX 3080); Firefox and Safari were not tested; it is not a touch game. See docs/VERIFICATION.md.
