What's changed

  • Skip duplicate previews and coalesce editor reads during rapid typing.
  • Refresh related body images and photos reliably, including attachments that appear after the first render.
  • Release canceled image/PDF operations and popout font registrations; reuse encoded font data during export.
  • Reduce repeated Markdown scans and DOM cloning during pagination.
  • Make production builds reproducible by default and publish verified GitHub Actions artifacts with provenance attestations.
  • Add English installation/usage documentation and expand regression coverage to 30 automated tests.

Existing templates, full Source Han Sans CN, HTML preview, zoom, and PDF layout are preserved.

Validation

ESLint, TypeScript, 30 tests, and package integrity checks pass. Tested in an isolated vault on macOS with Obsidian 1.13.7: offline preview/export, local photos, zoom, font caching, and reload. Standard, two-page, and photo PDFs pass Poppler/PDFKit checks for per-page text, search/selection, links, embedded fonts/images, and A4 dimensions.

Install or upgrade

Download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/markdown-to-cv/, then enable the plugin. For an upgrade, disable it before replacing those three files. Alternatively, extract the attached plugin ZIP into .obsidian/plugins/. The automatically generated source archives are not installable plugin packages.

Requires Obsidian 1.13.7+ on desktop. macOS is validated; Windows/Linux remain unverified and mobile is unsupported. The bundled full font keeps main.js above the 5 MB Obsidian Sync Standard limit. PDF export still relies on the host's non-public Electron bridge.
