v0.3.2
Full Changelog: v0.3.1...v0.3.2
Highlights
- Cover letters now use real contact details. The letter's header block is written by the model rather than a template, so it previously fell back on whatever the candidate profile happened to contain. It now receives a dedicated
candidate_data.json(name, email, phone, LinkedIn) alongside the profile, both via the API and the packaged CLI bundle. - CV review loop is more stable. The reviewer re-checking a regenerated CV against the master profile was mislabeling profile mismatches as "Logic" issues instead of dropping them, which could keep triggering pointless regenerations. Excluded categories are now enforced in code as a hard backstop instead of relying on the prompt alone, and the re-review prompt was reworded to stop asking the model to re-litigate the accuracy check.
- Regeneration keeps prior good fields. When a CV attempt is rejected, the retry prompt now tells the model to keep all previously-accepted field values as-is and only fix the ones called out in the violations, instead of rewriting the whole document from scratch.
- Windows release fixed. The PyInstaller spec pointed at the wrong relative path for the app icon, breaking the Windows build; releases now also ship a
.ziparchive alongside the.tar.gzfor Windows users.
Other changes
- Clipboard/watch prompt now accepts
nas a skip alias and re-prompts on unrecognized input instead of silently treating it as "submit" — a mistyped answer could previously submit a posting by accident. Ctrl+Cduringsubmit/submit-rawnow exits cleanly with a "stopped" message instead of a stack trace.- URLs pasted at the submit prompt are now capped at 300 characters with a clear warning.
- Added Codacy static analysis and coverage reporting to CI.
- Added Google Analytics (with cookie consent) to the documentation site.
- New
doc/development-setup.mdwith a full local dev setup walkthrough.
