v0.9.0: first public preview
Pre-release
Pre-release
The first public preview of Snapwright: turn a photo, a sketch or an idea into a brick model you can actually build.
Install
- Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents:
npx skills add geastham/snapwright - Claude.ai: download
snapwright.zip, turn on Code execution and file creation, then upload the zip under Skills.
In this release
- Design from photos, sketches, descriptions or 3D files (OBJ, STL, GLB), with a likeness score against your picture.
- Real parts in colours they're actually made in (bricks, plates, tiles, slopes, corner slopes, inverted slopes, round parts), plus sideways-built panels for faces and signs.
- Checked in software: one piece, nothing floating, no single-stud joints, it won't tip. Every automatic repair is listed.
- Outputs: an instruction book (PDF), a 3D viewer (a single offline HTML file), LDraw, a BrickLink wanted list, a Rebrickable CSV, and a build video (MP4).
Examples attached: the Harbour Lighthouse book (1,808 parts), plus the Lakeside Sail Tower book and its build video (3,115 parts).
This is a preview: v1.0 follows once both of our showcase creations have been physically built.
