RE-Poo v2.1.0 — realestate.com.au support 💩

RE-Poo now poo-ifies both major Australian property portals.

New

• realestate.com.au map support: excluded listings' pins turn red or 💩. Bundled pins keep their count — 💩33 means a 33-listing park at one address.
• Cross-site village registry: villages learned browsing Domain flag REA pins and vice versa — live across open tabs, remembered forever. Each park only has to slip up once, on either site, ever.
• Address matching: parks that relabel their listings ("House", "Villa") on REA are caught because their street address matches a village burned on Domain.
• API observer on REA (read-only): listings typed "Retirement Living" flag themselves and teach the registry as you browse.

Fixed

• Registry/cache writes now merge across tabs — no more villages being "unlearned" (last-writer-wins race).
• Orphaned content scripts no longer spam "Extension context invalidated" after extension reloads.

Known behaviour

• On REA, the first visit to an uncharted area may need one pan/zoom before pins mark; after that the area is known instantly, forever, on both sites.

Updating from v2.0.x (sideloaded): replace your folder's contents with the new ZIP's and press ↻ on chrome://extensions — settings, cache, and registry are preserved. (Removing and re-adding the extension wipes them.)

RE-Poo v2.0.1 — politeness update

Fixes aggressive deep-scan fetching that could trigger Domain's rate limiting and temporarily block your browsing session ('Access Denied' / edgesuite errors).

• One fetch at a time across ALL open Domain tabs (previously each tab scanned independently)
• 3–4.5 s between fetches (was 1.2 s per tab)
• Background tabs no longer scan
• Longer backoff when Domain pushes back

If you installed v2.0, please update: download the new ZIP, then on chrome://extensions remove the old entry and Load unpacked the new folder — or just replace the old folder's contents and press the reload arrow (that preserves your settings and cache).

RE-Poo v2.0

First public release 💩

Chrome extension that catches retirement & land-lease village listings disguised as houses on domain.com.au.

Install (until the Chrome Web Store listing is live):

1. Download re-poo-v2.0.zip below and unzip it
2. Open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode (top right)
3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder
4. Browse a domain.com.au search — excluded listings vanish and their map pins turn red (or 💩, via the extension's popup)

Note: sideloaded installs don't auto-update — once the Web Store version is live, install from there instead.
