  • Add Vertex AI Express Mode provider (GDS_ASSISTANT_VERTEX_KEY / VERTEX_API_KEY) — no-training guarantees and higher quotas than AI Studio; ranked above gemini as the preferred default when both are configured
  • Add Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite and Gemini 2.0 Flash models to both gemini and vertex providers (cheaper read-tier options)
