What's New

  • Scanned PDFs convert to editable text. Local OCR through the operating
    system's own engine on macOS and Windows — nothing uploaded, nothing extra
    to install.
  • Stronger AI in Docs, PDF, and Markdown. Ask about a selection, queue
    several edits and apply them as one batch, character-level edits, comment
    and tracked-change awareness, citations that jump back to the source block,
    and in-document image generation.
  • Two windows on one presentation. Slides can open the same deck in a
    second window and edit it from both.
  • Better PDF to Excel tables. Tables spanning pages merge into one
    worksheet, and label/value grids and rule-less bands become real rows.
  • Fidelity work across the suite. A large wave of Word layout fixes in
    Docs, Excel parity fixes in Sheets, and three PowerPoint import-fidelity
    waves in Slides.
