Fixed

Added

• The edge dock scrolls when there are more providers than the screen can hold: the strip grows until it is 24 pt from the top and bottom of the screen, and the rest of the rings scroll inside it with the wheel or trackpad. The system scroller is replaced by a 2 pt line on the inboard side, faint at rest, brighter while scrolling, fading back once it stops; where there are more rings above or below, the ends fade into the black. Scrolling puts away the hover card, cards line up with their ring allowing for the scroll, and when a limit resets its ring is scrolled into view first.
• Provider cards in the panel can be dragged into a new order: the card lifts slightly and follows the pointer, trades places with a neighbour once it is halfway over it while the others slide aside, and settles into its slot on release. The new order is used by the dock, the notch island and desktop cards too. Clicks inside a card (used or left, reset times and so on) still work, since a drag starts only after a few points of movement, and releasing outside the panel still settles the card and saves the order.

Style

• The About page's GitHub link shows the repository's new name, gentpan/QuotaBar, and the feedback and update-check addresses use it too.

Added

• Providers can be hidden per place instead of turned off: the panel, the edge dock, the notch island and desktop cards each choose which providers they show. A hidden provider is still read, still alerts and still counts towards spend; only turning it off stops reading it. Settings → Presentation has a new "What each place shows" card, one row per provider, where clicking a place's tag shows or hides it there. You can also right-click a card in the panel and choose "Hide from Panel", or right-click a dock icon and choose "Hide from the dock".
• When providers are hidden, the bottom of the panel says "N hidden here" with their icons; "Reveal" brings them back one at a time or opens Settings to manage them. The dock's right-click menu lists its hidden providers too.
• In-app updates check and download from the quota.bar server when GitHub can't be reached, so networks that block GitHub still get updates. The download must still carry the developer's signature and Apple's notarization before it installs. The About page's "Your data" list of connections now includes it.

Style

• The refresh note in the panel footer reads "Updated just now" for a minute after "Refresh Everything" or an automatic refresh, then "Auto-refresh in Xm"; hovering shows when it last updated, when it refreshes next and the interval. It used to say "refresh in 5m" the moment a refresh finished, which looked as if the button had done nothing.
• The pacing note now reads "~8% left at reset" instead of the vaguer "about 8% to spare". Hovering spells out the working, for example "87% of this window has passed and 80% is used. At this rate it reaches about 92% by the reset, leaving 8%."
• Service status says "Service OK" instead of "Running normally". Hovering the dot or the label names the source — for example "From the official status page status.claude.com, judged by Claude Code and Claude API, checked 3m ago" — to make clear it reflects the provider's own service status, not your login or quota reading.
• Approaching the edge dock now opens just the icons, without popping the card beside them. Once the dock has fully opened, pointing at an icon shows that provider's card, and moving between icons switches the card straight away. With "Keep open" on, hovering an icon shows its card at once.
• The edge dock opens in two moves: the small capsule first grows wider, then taller, with the rings fading and sliding in inside the shape rather than spilling past the black. Closing reverses it: shorter first, then narrow again.
• The QuotaBar wordmark changes from Sora to Instrument Sans SemiBold across the settings sidebar, the About page, the panel, the notch island, share cards and copied images; the About page's acknowledgements now credit Instrument Sans.
• The usage share card window no longer has a separate grey title bar: the title bar is transparent and the card preview and the settings beside it run to the top of the window, one piece like the Settings window. The card and the heading on the right keep clear of the traffic-light buttons and line up with each other.

Fixed

• In English, the "Keychain" tag in Settings → Providers broke over two lines ("Keychai" / "n"): the tag's slot is wider and the text stays on one line.
• Pacing gave wild estimates right after a window began — 3% used three minutes into a 5-hour window was projected to run out. It now waits until at least 5% of the window, and no less than 15 minutes, has passed before saying how much will be left, that it will run out, or when; a window already used up still shows at once.
• The edge dock jumped off the screen edge for an instant when it opened on hover, leaving a gap. The window no longer changes size as the dock opens and closes; only the black shape grows inside it, flush to the edge throughout, and the undrawn transparent area lets the pointer through.

• 下拉面板底部在有隐藏的服务商时显示「N 个已在面板隐藏」和它们的图标，点「显示」可逐个恢复或打开设置管理；停靠条右键菜单也列出已隐藏的服务商。
• 应用内更新在连不上 GitHub 时改从 quota.bar 服务器检查和下载，打不开 GitHub 的网络也能收到更新；下载到的安装包照旧要验证开发者签名和 Apple 公证才会安装。关于页「你的数据」里的联网说明相应补上这一项。

样式

• 下拉面板页脚的刷新提示：点「全部刷新」或自动刷新完成后的一分钟内显示「刚刚更新」，之后显示「X 分钟后自动刷新」；鼠标悬停显示上次更新和下次自动刷新的具体时间及刷新间隔。以前刷新完立刻显示「5 分钟后刷新」，看起来像按钮没起作用。
• 节奏提示的文案改为「预计重置时剩 8%」，不再写成含糊的「约 8% 余量」；鼠标悬停时写出算法和用到的数字，例如「这个窗口已过 87%，已用 80%。按这段时间的平均速度，到重置时约用到 92%，剩 8%」。
• 服务状态的「运行正常」改为「服务正常」；悬停状态点或状态标签时写明来源，例如「来自官方状态页 status.claude.com，按 Claude Code、Claude API 判断，3 分钟前检查」，说明它反映的是服务商官方的服务状态，不是本机登录或额度读数。
• 边缘停靠条靠近时只展开出图标，不再立刻弹出左侧卡片：等停靠条完全展开后，把鼠标移到某个图标上才显示该服务商的详情卡片；之后在图标之间移动，卡片会直接跟着切换。锁定显示时悬停图标直接显示卡片。
• 边缘停靠条的展开改为两段：小胶囊先横向拉宽，再纵向拉高，圆环在形状里淡入滑出，不会露在黑色区域外；收起时先缩短高度，再收窄回胶囊。
• 字标 QuotaBar 的字体从 Sora 换成 Instrument Sans 半粗，设置侧边栏、关于页、下拉面板、刘海岛、分享卡片和复制图片的底栏都跟着换；关于页开源致谢里的字体一并改为 Instrument Sans。
• 分享用量卡片窗口不再有单独的灰色标题栏：标题栏改为透明，卡片预览和右侧设置一直铺到窗口顶部，和设置窗口一样是一整块；卡片和右侧标题避开左上角的红绿灯按钮并上下对齐。

修复

• 英文界面的设置 → 服务商列表里，「Keychain」标签被挤成两行（Keychai / n）：状态标签的位置加宽，文字固定一行。
• 额度窗口刚开始时节奏估算会乱报（例如 5 小时窗口开始 3 分钟用了 3%，就推算成会用完）：现在至少过了窗口时长的 5%、且不少于 15 分钟，才给出余量、会用完和用完时间的判断；已经用完的仍会立即显示。
• 边缘停靠条悬停展开时会先瞬间离开屏幕边缘、露出一条缝隙：窗口不再在展开和收起时改变尺寸，只让黑色形状在窗口里生长，全程贴着屏幕边缘；没画出来的透明区域让鼠标直接穿透。

QuotaBar 0.5.0

0.5.0 把下拉面板请了回来，新增桌面卡片、花费统计、额度重置时刻，服务商从 13 家增加到 23 家，界面完整支持中文和英文。

下拉面板

• 左键点菜单栏图标打开，右键仍是刷新、设置、退出；Esc 关闭，⌘R 全部刷新，⌘, 打开设置，也可以设置全局快捷键。
• 顶部是花费卡片：花费、Token、每百万 token 花费三种口径，今日、昨日、近 30 天，按来源分色，悬停看各模型明细。
• 每个服务商一张卡片，默认显示最重要的两个额度窗口，其余收在展开区；页脚一行显示版本、下次刷新时间和"全部刷新"按钮。
• 右键卡片可复制为图片、上移下移；面板可设为半透明。

额度重置时刻

• 5 小时、每周等窗口一重置，QuotaBar 立刻重新读取该服务商，不等定时刷新。
• 颜色跟随服务商：停靠条自动滑出、圆环被扫满并弹出"刚刚重置"卡片；刘海岛像灵动岛一样展开横幅；菜单栏图标回满并闪过一道高光；对应额度行显示"刚刚重置"十分钟。
• 如果该窗口之前用过 90% 以上，还会发一条通知（可在设置 → 提醒里调整）。

节奏与提醒

• 每条进度条标出匀速使用时此刻应在的位置，预计余量很紧、重置前会用完都会提示。
• 新增"快用完""余量很紧""重置前会用完"三种通知，同一周期只提醒一次。
• 点百分比切换已用/剩余，点重置时间切换倒计时/具体时刻，所有界面同步。

桌面卡片

• 可以放多张：大数字、环形仪表、花费趋势、每日对比、服务商网格、紧迫排行和经典列表，每种有小、中、大三种尺寸。
• 拖动移动，双击打开面板，右键更换样式、尺寸或服务商。原来开着桌面小工具的，会在原位置换成两张默认卡片。

刘海岛

• 轮廓外一圈柔光，接近告警线时变成琥珀色或红色；可开低功耗模式，被全屏应用遮住时暂停动画。
• 额度第一次越过告警线时自动弹出约 4 秒。
• 面板分为额度、用量、总览三页，双指滑动翻页；额度图表有五种样式。

花费与分享

• QuotaBar 自己保存每天每个模型的用量，Claude Code 清理旧日志后统计也不会变少；打开面板直接从存档读出，不再等待。
• 花费可显示为人民币、港币、日元、欧元等 11 种货币，token 可选是否计入缓存。
• 用量分享卡片：最近 7 天到全部时间，满 1000 美元变黑卡、满 1 万美元变蓝卡，支持 4:5、1:1、9:16，保存 1080 像素 PNG 或复制。

新服务商（共 23 家）

• 新增 GitHub Copilot（直接用本机 GitHub CLI 登录），以及阿里云百炼 Coding Plan、火山方舟、智谱 GLM、Kimi 开放平台、OpenRouter、小米 MiMo、Qoder、Windsurf、Kiro。
• 后 9 家暂时标为"实验性"，还在用真实账号验证；阿里云百炼和小米 MiMo 支持在应用内登录。

停靠条

• 纯黑、14pt 圆角，环里只有图标；选中的服务商在环下方有一个绿点。
• 悬停出卡片，卡片可以停留、可以点：刷新这一家、翻到背面看本地日志里的 token 用量（7 / 14 / 30 天）。

修复

• 菜单面板内容叠字 —— MenuBarExtra 只在首次渲染时量一次尺寸,而那时任何服务商都还没返回数据,面板被永久定在空数据状态的 418pt。实际内容需要 429–624pt,所以每个服务商都在叠,页脚压在最后一行额度上。「限额重置额度」和「更新于」这两行此前从未显示出来过
• 设置窗口左上角的关闭/最小化按钮消失 —— 按钮从未被隐藏(运行时报告 alpha=1.0),是被内容盖住了:窗口的 theme frame 把 hosting view 排在了标题栏容器之前

QuotaBar 0.3.0

Three new surfaces, real spend figures, and in-app updating.

New surfaces

Edge dock — a strip of provider rings pinned to a screen edge, hidden until the pointer reaches it. Hovering a ring opens a callout with that provider's windows; clicking one opens the panel. Either edge, a remembered vertical position, and an always-visible mode.

Desktop widget — a card on the desktop at three densities. It sits below your windows by default, which is what makes it a widget rather than an overlay; floating it above everything is available but opt-in.

Menu-bar glyph shows two horizons. Quota windows answer two different questions — "am I about to be throttled" (5-hour, rolling) and "will I run out this period" (7-day, monthly). One number hides which limit is actually near. The glyph also now follows whichever provider the panel is focused on.

Spend

A total-spend breakdown — today, yesterday or the trailing window, as a ring with a per-source legend, plus a per-day chart and the model most of the money went to. opencode is a third source, reporting the cost it recorded itself rather than one we estimate.

Prices now come from a maintained catalog rather than a table compiled into the app. That table was not merely going to go stale — it was already wrong: a Codex model it had never seen resolved through a gpt-5 prefix at $1.25/$10 against a published $4/$20, understating that provider roughly threefold.

Pace. A window at 88% means nothing without knowing how much of it has elapsed. Each window now says whether consumption is ahead of the rate that would exhaust it exactly at reset, and when it runs out at the current rate.

Updating

QuotaBar can now update itself, from GitHub or a JSON endpoint you host. A download is installed only if it is signed by this app's developer and notarized by Apple — an updater that installs whatever it fetched is a remote-code-execution path. Installing is never automatic: a verified build waits behind "restart to install". Homebrew installs are detected and pointed at brew upgrade instead.

Fixes

• The trend line drew a filled area beneath itself, so a series pinned at 100% filled the entire plot and stopped conveying anything.
• Switching providers no longer resizes the panel out from under the pointer.
• An exhausted quota rendered identically to a full one once the glyph was tinted for an alert — unlit cells are outlines now, not a faint fill.
• Settings opened behind other windows and looked like it had not opened at all.
• Cursor and OpenCode Go read their sessions automatically; no more pasting cookies.

The glyph shows two meters

Quota windows answer two different questions — "am I about to be throttled" (5-hour, rolling) and "will I run out this period" (7-day, 30-day, billing cycle). Collapsing both into one number hides which limit is actually near.

The new Dual style stacks them: short horizon on top, long below. A real account here reads 31% against its 5-hour windows and 100% against a monthly one — the old single meter showed only the 100% and said nothing about there being plenty of headroom right now.

Plans that report only one horizon collapse to a single centred row. A Codex Pro account has no 5-hour window; Cursor and OpenCode Go report only a billing cycle.

It follows the panel

Selecting a provider in the panel now points the icon at that provider. Pick Overview to have it cover everything enabled. The choice is remembered across launches.

Legibility fixes

• An exhausted quota looked identical to a full one. Unlit cells were a faint fill, distinguished from lit ones only by opacity — once tinted for an alert, both read as a coloured block, and 0% remaining rendered as a solid pink icon. Unlit cells are outlines now.
• Alert tints were washing out to pink at 22pt. Deepened, with heavier outlines so an empty meter stays visible.
• The panel had no background of its own and could render washed-out grey against the menu bar's material. It carries its own now.
• A stray dot no longer appears next to a provider sitting at 0%.

Also

Quota windows are badged by length (5h, 7d, 30d), and Codex early-reset credits are shown — both new since 0.2.2, plus automatic session reading for Cursor and OpenCode Go from 0.2.2.

Quota windows are now badged by length

A window used to be labelled with a sentence — "7-day window", "GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark · 5-hour window". When a provider reports three windows and the length is the only thing separating them, that is the slowest possible thing to read.

Each row now leads with a compact 5h / 7d / 30d badge, and the text beside it names only what the window is scoped to (a model, a metered feature). An account-wide window gets no caption at all.

Codex early-reset credits

The Codex API reports how many early-reset credits your plan holds; QuotaBar was discarding it. It now shows as its own row, with the count applicable to the window currently limiting you in the tooltip. Hidden when you have none.
