New

  • Date and time fields now have a "now" button that fills in the current date and time in one click, covering a page's date as well as its published and unpublished dates #167
  • A British English admin language. It is a small overrides file rather than a copy of the American one, so it inherits every string it does not change, and it also gives date fields day-month-year #166

Bugfix

  • Text a plugin or theme supplies for its settings form — field labels, help text, section and spacer copy — is now cleaned before it is shown, so a package cannot put working HTML into the admin's own pages. The same now applies to the description shown on a plugin or theme's detail panel. Thanks to @alham-rizvi
  • A blueprint display field's text is now cleaned before it is shown, the same as labels and help text. A plugin-supplied toolbar button in the markdown editor is too, and the Page File help text under a page's Advanced tab renders its formatting instead of printing the tags
  • Dropdown lists, date pickers, scrollbars and other controls the browser draws itself now follow the admin's dark or light theme instead of the desktop's. On a dark admin with a light desktop, an open dropdown was drawn light and could be unreadable #168
  • The Page Date Format setting under System, Content now saves. It was being shown as a multi-pick tag box instead of a single choice, so the value it sent back was discarded and the field reverted to "Guess automatically". The same field on a page's Overrides tab was affected #166
  • Date and time fields now put their day, month and year boxes in the order the admin's own language writes them, rather than always the American month-day-year. Typing a day above the twelfth into the first box no longer lands it in the month #166
  • The "After Save" heading on a Flex Objects record now appears in the admin's own language. The three choices under it were already being translated, but the heading itself was always shown in English #236
