[Feature Request] Duplicati widget

Description

Duplicati is a self hosted backup client.
It'd be great to have a widget for this service that gives an overview of e.g. the total number of backups, total size of backups, if there are warnings / errors, if a backup is currently in progress, last backup time.

How to get a JWT “forever token” from Duplicati and use it if you run Duplicati in Docker
Temporarily allow token issuing (add this to your env and restart):

in compose
CLI_ARGS=--webservice-interface=any --webservice-port=8200 --webservice-enable-forever-token=true
Mint the token (using the official image’s tool):

docker run --rm --network=container:duplicati
duplicati/duplicati:2.1.0.4
duplicati-server-util issue-forever-token
--hosturl=http://127.0.0.1:8200
--password="YOUR_DUPLICATI_UI_PASSWORD"
Copy the printed token.

If that image isn’t available, duplicati/duplicati:canary also has duplicati-server-util.

Turn the option off again (remove --webservice-enable-forever-token=true) and restart your container.

Use the token (example):

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
https://.ts.net:18200/api/v1/backups
Homepage Custom API header:

headers:
Authorization: "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
Revoke all tokens (if needed, one-time restart with):

Thanks for sharing this. I managed to get this to work as well, but sadly the customapi implementation seems to be quite limited in grouping things together instead of displaying the stats of one specific backup.

The revival of this topic did get me searching again though and came acros this forum post which also explicitly mentions exposing an API that could be used for Homepage. Perhaps also of interest for some of you ; )

I'd really love for a native widget. However, I'd like to thank @remussamoila for posting this customapi version. I was able to get it to work, but had to make 3 different widgets for all my jobs. The jobs count was correct at 3, but the next time or size of backups were for another jobs and didn't combine them.

My only other issue is it showing UTC time. I've got the environment varaiable for TZ=Americas/New_York, but the homepage container still defaults to UTC. I can install the TZ into the contianer, but everytime it restarts, it defaults back to UTC.

It uses the normal Duplicati UI password on each refresh, so it does not require a long-lived JWT token.
