New Features ✨

  • Move the CLI and its documentation to getsentry/toolkit, preserving their Git history. Stable installers now fetch exact cli@ releases from Toolkit, with a legacy fallback only when Toolkit returns 404, in #1354.
  • Configure Toolkit to publish the CLI binaries, npm package, Homebrew formula, and website in #1354.

Bug Fixes 🐛

  • Keep CLI typechecking offline and support the ignored API schema in fresh checkouts in #1320.
  • Parse compact GitHub release responses, skip prerelease tags for stable installations, and preserve setup and upgrade compatibility in #1320.
  • Silence Seer errors on self-hosted instances without suppressing SaaS telemetry in getsentry/cli#1651.
  • Keep the v3 migration shim working for a release named new in #1320.
