OpenCCman 2.1 brings native automation and larger Mac document workflows.
What's new
- Mac Pro large TXT files: convert one UTF-8 TXT larger than 10 MiB and up to 1 GiB directly to a file, with progress and cancellation. Your editor draft and result stay in place.
- Free Shortcuts action: convert text with four presets on iOS/iPadOS 16+ and macOS 13+. Input is limited to 10 MiB of UTF-8; the action does not consume homepage conversions.
- Start writing immediately: new workspaces are empty, the example is optional, and Clear Source asks for confirmation.
- Safer Mac replacement: global shortcuts recheck the selection and editable target before replacing text. If the target changed, copy the result from OpenCCman.
- Updated app icon and launch mark, with supported system appearances and accessibility-aware transitions.
Compatibility
The app requires iOS/iPadOS 15+ or macOS 12+. iPhone/iPad and editor imports remain limited to 10 MiB, including with Pro. Large-file conversion is Mac-only, single-file and UTF-8; batch conversion and Big5/GBK decoding are not supported.

Distribution and source
Both App Store platforms were approved and released as 2.1 (60) on 1 October 2026. Storefront updates may propagate at different times.
Xcode Cloud Build 60 source: da526f03f5f9d49df3edfbc4ef9c5c37c49d36fe. The tagged release retains identical application/project/build-script contents; subsequent changes contain store assets and release documentation. The gated 2.2 mobile 100 MiB work is not included.
