Validation and limitations
- Linux Rust workspace tests passed with serial test execution. The initial parallel run encountered a temporary executable
Text file busyerror. - Unified application tests passed (one platform-specific test skipped).
- Windows MSI administrative extraction, all packaged file hashes, and the extracted application bundle were validated without installing or posting input.
- macOS native tests: 15/15 passed; app/driver signatures and DMG integrity verified.
- The macOS package uses an Apple Development identity and a development provisioning profile. It is not Developer ID notarized, and its profile does not provide unrestricted installation on arbitrary Macs.
- Live mouse/keyboard interaction, permissions approval, and installation over an active deployment were not tested for this release.
