Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I just started learning wgpu and wgsl and I want to debug/log print in shaders to understand concepts but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it.

Basically #4297 seems to be what I want but there didn't seem like there was a issue ticket for it.

Couldn't find alternative yet. Still looking.
