Problem description & steps to reproduce
I tried using Gemma-4-26B-A4B for OCR, but it never worked—it would freeze and then crash. My machine is an AMD 8840U (780M). I used the Vulkan backend. Later, I tried the HIP backend (self-compiled using TheRock project). The first time, it output repetitive garbage; the second time, it worked as expected.
