Included

  • Seven steps, one skill each: Mouse, Keyboard, My Name, Words & Sentences, Everyday Computer, Safe & Smart, Create,
with sixteen worlds, plus Robot Helper, Quiz Corner and an optional Ten-Finger Path for ages 7 and up.
  • Coming back to a level brings new questions, themes and pictures.
  • Keybo's garden, a wardrobe of outfits, a short daily adventure, stickers, and a party for every finished step.
  • English, German and Spanish, with recorded (AI-generated) speech; QWERTY, QWERTZ and Spanish keyboards.
  • A PIN-protected parent area: progress in plain language, play limits and allowed play times, up to 6 children,
classroom mode for up to 30 anonymous children, printable certificates, backup, restore and delete everything.
  • Runs in its own window on Mac and Windows; portable mode from a USB stick.
  • An optional online helper (your own OpenRouter key, off by default, only after a parent's consent) that never

Downloads

  • Windows: installer (Keybo-Setup-0.1.0.exe) or portable zip. Mac: Apple silicon and Intel. Linux: x86_64.
  • The apps are not code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS ask for permission the first time (see the README).
  • Every file is listed in SHA256SUMS.txt. The files built on GitHub carry a signed build provenance:
gh attestation verify <file> --repo ggulati2/my-first-computer.
