Voice, a real terminal, and safety rules that Buddy enforces itself.

Voice

• Talk to Buddy with Claude's or ChatGPT's own speech recognition (your subscription, through Claude Code / Codex), or the phone's. Any language, even mixed.
• Replies read aloud in ChatGPT's voice (Juniper, Maple, Ember, Cove).
• Recording bar with a live waveform; nothing you say at the start is lost.
• Add instructions while a task runs, typed or spoken, without stopping it.

Safety

• App permissions, per app: Trust, Hard (Send / Pay / Delete… always need your OK, plus your own button rules) or Smart (a separate reviewer AI checks every tap).
• The agent can't tap Buddy's own bubble, approval cards or settings.

Bubble & more

• Hold the bubble: Stop task, Add instruction, Stop voice, Talk, Open chat, Hide.
• Terminal for Buddy's Linux: tabs, selection, links, pinch zoom.
• Sign in from another device (Claude link, Codex device code).

Install: download buddy.apk below. If Play Protect blocks it, tap More details → Install anyway. See the README for restricted settings on Android 13+.
