OSC 99 (Operating System Command) escape sequences notification support

Is there any plan to support OSC 99 (Operating System Command) escape sequences notifications?

The base standard (defines OSC as a concept):
ECMA-48 (5th edition, 1991) — also known as ISO/IEC 6429 / ANSI X3.64. This defines the OSC format (ESC ] followed by a command string terminated by ST or BEL), but it leaves the actual command numbers largely open-ended. The de facto reference for specific OSC numbers:
XTerm Control Sequences — this is the closest thing to a comprehensive registry. xterm defined most of the commonly used OSC numbers (0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 52, etc.) and other terminals followed suit. Available at invisible-island.net/xterm/ctlseqs/ctlseqs.html

Desktop notification-specific specs:
OSC 99 — Kitty's desktop notification protocol, specified by Kovid Goyal: sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/desktop-notifications

OSC 777 — originated from a small urxvt Perl extension, adopted by Fedora's VTE patches. No formal spec exists — it's basically defined by the Fedora patch itself

OSC 9 — iTerm2/Windows Terminal style, documented in their respective docs

The standardization gap:
The terminal-wg (terminal working group) has not finalized a spec for desktop notifications. The implementation is leaning towards using OSC 9/99/777. (GitHub) There are a bunch of escape codes that aren't defined in ECMA-48, like enabling mouse reporting, bracketed paste, and OSC 52. These came from xterm, are documented in XTerm Control Sequences, and have been widely implemented by other terminal emulators. This isn't a standard exactly, but xterm is extremely influential.
